While every project has its own set of needs, challenges, and requirements, there are basic considerations and milestones that all projects share. BIG's way ensures that both general and specific project goals are met. Our flexible process involves the client throughout the project life cycle. This process centers around five core steps: Discover, Research, Design, Approve & Deliver and Enhancement & Update.

Each project begins with a discovery phase to ensure that we identify, understand, and document our client's needs before any development begins. Discussions and meetings typically center on project goals, audience needs and expectations, technical requirements, maintenance needs, and content preparation. We consult with you about ideas for completely new designs or ways to integrate an existing design element into the solution.

Once the project definition has been approved, BIG conducts research to gain insight into your company's background, industry and markets. These factors often influence the scope and nature of the project. In addition, this research enables us to develop a distinctive identity for your project. At the end of this phase, we deliver an executive summary of the research and consult with you to discuss the results of the research and their implications.

During the design phase, BIG takes all the information and ideas generated in the definition and research phases and develops some alternatives for the solution. With all of the goals and project priorities in mind, BIG begins to develop graphic and interface design samples.

• Leverage your brand by using existing design element

At this phase of the project you receive the final version of your solution for launch. You will receive the project files and/or design. BIG delivers all of the project documentation that was produced throughout the project. We will train you in the use of the new interface and/or design. Optionally, we will assist you to promote and launch the project through a variety of marketing activities.

The Enhancement & Update phase is reached only after BIG has received final approval of all deliverables. Creating a new design is one thing; keeping it fresh and exciting is another. Over time, enhancement and update of the project will be necessary. BIG will propose the specific maintenance and enhancement program for maximizing the project. It is up to you as to whether you choose to implement the enhancement phase on your own or outsource it to us.
